DONATIONS
We’re proud to offer dairy tours at no set cost. Instead, we welcome donations in lieu of payment, with every dollar going directly to the Gary and Mary Kay Van Der Geest Memorial Scholarship Fund. Your support helps us continue this tradition while investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders.
IMPORTANT: We cannot accommodate walk-ins.
All visits are scheduled in advance and depend on guide availability.
Please contact us at 715-675-6043 or vdgdairy@vandergeestdairy.com at least 7 days before your arrival. Once your guide is confirmed, we’ll send you a confirmation of your visit.
BEFORE YOU VISIT
Tours are available by appointment only with at least 7 days’ notice.
Please meet at the designated gathering spot before your scheduled time.
Tours begin promptly and last about 20–30 minutes.
Each tour is limited to 20 guests.
For the safety of our cows and staff, no cameras or recording devices are permitted.
Tours may be cancelled due to weather or guide availability.
Experience Our Rotary Parlor and More
Step inside the observation room and watch the heart of Van Der Geest Dairy in action—our rotary milking parlor. Here, you’ll see how we care for our cows and bring milk from farm to family.
Tours last approximately 20–30 minutes and focus solely on the milking process. For safety, no other areas of the dairy are open to visitors at this time. Please note that access to the observation room is by staircase only.
